	Details about the organisers Michael Tanner Michael was born in 1955, and graduated in Chemistry from Bristol University before working in the computer software industry with multinational companies for 18 years. At Lotus he managed a team of 10 and managed internal software for the company across Europe. He then started his own software business, which has now been operating successfully for 10 years. A keen cook, he cooks frequently for groups of friends, and holds several extravagant parties each year for 40-60 people. He has also been on a variety of cookery courses, food hygiene etc. He has played the violin for 40 years (gasp) and is now studying part-time at Ealing College of Music and Media for a BMus in performance. He has played and performed chamber music since his early twenties, and been on numerous chamber music coaching courses in the UK. He was chairman of a local orchestra for three years. Lynda Bird Lynda graduated from Royal Holloway College in 1989 with a BMus hons, and a year later with an MMus in historical musicology and a dissertation on 17th century manuscripts. Whilst at university she studied the viola with Nannie Jamieson as a joint first-study with the piano. Lynda has worked in information management in the arts and recruitment, helping to set up a business in conjunction with the owner. Gaining an MBA from Kingston (with distinction) through distance learning, she then worked for a professional services company before moving to her current role, managing a team within the public sector. Michael and Lynda live in Ealing, West London and have been partners for over 4 years.
