	Fabulous food for your function What we do: We provide exciting, freshly prepared food, in your home or at your venue. We cater for parties and other special events, and can also provide brunches and lunches. Our speciality is finger food, ranging from sushi to sausages, smoked salmon roulade to soup in shot glasses - ten or twelve dishes make a whole delightful and varied main meal. We often provide a buffet dessert, and can also provide a buffet main course with finger food as a starter. We prepare all the food fresh from basic ingedients as near to the event as possible, using local produce where possible, and never serve purchased ready-prepared items. Organisation: Every event is arranged with and personally managed by the chef and owner, Michael Tanner, to ensure attention to detail and that the food and presentation meet your expectations. Size: We cater from twelve to a hundred guests. Beyond this it is difficult for us to prepare the food freshly and maintain the quality without compromise. Staff: We will bring the food and will do the final preparation on-site. We do not currently provide a 'lay up and leave' service as this compromises quality. For serving the food, clearing up etc you can provide your own staff or we can provide them; for a finger food event where drinks are also served allow one person to serve/clear up for each 12-18 guests and about the same in the kitchen (including the chef, we usually provide kitchen staff). Pricing: Fabulous Food prides itself on providing excellent quality at an affordable price. Our fee is usually based on a per-head cost for the food and a per-hour charge while we and staff are at or travelling to/from your venue. There isn't a standard price list because every event is carefully tailored to your requirements. But as an example, for a function for 30-50 people where we provide ten to twelve items of finger food per person and buffet desserts - a full meal - the cost would be about £15-£22 per head (depending mainly on staff).
